That happens as we present our self each and every day as a “living sacrifice.” I do that, as the passage says, in response to ‘God’s mercy.’ I am thankful that in the midst of my daily failures and shortcomings, the Lord continues to accept this very flawed sacrifice.”

Favorite part of my job:
“People. I am energized by watching people come to put their faith in Christ and grow in their faith. I have always had a great interest in knowing about people and their lives. When we travel, I look at houses along the way and just want to stop and get to know the people in those houses. I want to know their story; why did you move to this town? Where did you come from? What was your childhood like? What are your dreams and hopes? What do you think about Jesus? That may sound a little weird but I just have this built in desire to know people. By the way, I don’t stop and knock on any strangers doors–at least not yet.”
