New Alternatives are state-run facilities that take care of elementary aged children who cannot live with their families for various reasons. Many are waiting for foster families. Our church goes to the Hearic Center on Steele Canyon Road every Sunday to provide Bible teaching, music, crafts, and snacks for the children who choose to participate.
The New Alternatives facility reaches children who are victims of abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Our church partners with them by providing spiritual support to these children each week.
